Summer Camp: The Solar System is Sew Cool [Grades 4-5]

July 6-10 | 9 am - 4 pm | Grades 4-5 | $280
The entire solar system is at your fingertips! In this art and science camp, we’ll cover basic hand sewing techniques and then use them to explore our vast planetary neighborhood. Sewing projects will draw inspiration from the various components of our solar system: we will construct planet-themed pencil cases, Kuiper Belt belts, fabric aliens from Enceladus*, and more, created with our stocks of reclaimed fabric, the inspiring science of the solar system, and your imagination.
Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm, so drop off your campers at 8:45 am and pick them up by 4:15 pm. A snack is included, but bring your own lunch!
