Festival Coordinator, Artist Accelerator

POSITION OVERVIEW

 

The Festival Coordinator, Artist Accelerator is charged with providing key operational and logistical support for Artist Accelerator program activities during the annual Sundance Film Festival.

 

Working closely under the direction of the Director, Artist Accelerator and Women at Sundance, the Festival Coordinator also acts as an onsite liaison for fellows, including artists supported by the Latine, Building Bridges, TAAF, Disney, and OneHouse Fund programs, to ensure a successful and rewarding Festival experience.

 

This temporary position works full-time from Monday, January 13, 2025 through Tuesday, February 4, 2025 and will be required to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned, specifically during the Sundance Film Festival. This position is based within a communicable distance to our Park City, UT office in order to work onsite in a hybrid capacity. There will be opportunities for remote work leading up to the Festival in January.

 

Top priorities include but are not limited to…

  • Supporting in the creation and compilation of schedules, bios, and other required materials for each fellowship strand in advance of the Sundance Film Festival.

  • Managing RSVP lists for Artist Accelerator events, including following up with fellows and communicating the final attendee list as needed.

  • Coordinating with the Ticketing team to secure and confirm screening tickets for fellows.

  • Providing additional administrative support for pre-Festival preparation tasks as needed.

  • Providing on-site support to the Artist Accelerator team during the Festival to ensure smooth event execution and a positive experience for the fellows.

  • Chaperoning fellows to Artist Accelerator Fellowship screenings.

  • Assisting with Artist Accelerator event operations (including panels, screenings, etc), managing event and program flow, attendance, and ensuring artists are in the right locations at the right times.

  • Preparing and distributing the nightly recap email during the Festival to Artist Accelerator Fellowship artists, keeping them informed of upcoming events and activities.

  • Transporting fellows around the Festival and Park City to various venues, events, and lodging as needed.

  • Providing ongoing logistical support during the Festival as needed, helping to address any additional needs to last-minute adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly.

  • Acting as an onsite liaison for fellows, helping them navigate the Festival, answering questions, and ensuring they have a meaningful experience.

 

You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR authorization check.

  • 2 years of administrative, nonprofit program coordination, or related experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Park City and Sundance Film Festival venues and processes

  • Excellent organizational skills including strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording, tracking, and issuing information.

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a wide variety of people.

  • Working knowledge of and proficiency in Google Products.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
